It
has been a while since I last posted something.
Sorry that is my bad… I have been super busy with school and auditions
and trying to figure everything out for next year.
So
this weekend was great, on Friday I went to Seattle and spent the whole day
there! I had an audition for a
musical. Now this audition was my very first
professional audition, and it was very interesting but fun at the same time. Now many eighteen year olds cannot check this off their bucket list but I can.
So I auditioned for my first Broadway show at the age of 18 years of
age!!! CRAZY!!! Now many people might be familiar with the
Musical it is called The Book of Mormon.
This show has been one of my favorite shows ever since it opened in
2011. This audition was such a great experience, because I got to show these professional casting agents who live in NYC what I am
made of. The audition went good, I will
admit it I was very nervous because this was a professional audition and I was
also by myself in Seattle. In this
industry you have to put yourself out there and show people that you can handle
this and that you will be the best! A good
friend of mine once said to me, Preparation, opportunity,
sometimes creating your own opportunity and dive it. Full out. When I say that
I mean in. I mean no 50 percent, no 80 percent. All in. If you are all in and
this is the only thing you can see in your future. Then for goodness sakes do
the work.
Also this weekend everybody on this Campus just
disappeared… In my dorm on the third floor there was nobody. It seems like whenever someone here a long
weekend they are out and going home. Well
let me tell you something it was peaceful and relaxing no loud noises, no
banging on walls or yelling, it was just relaxing. I got to spend sometime with a great friend
Taylor Erwin. Thank you my friend it was
a good weekend hope you feel better!
Also going on this week I have another audition for the 5th
Avenue in Seattle!!!
Have a Great week everyone!
Dream Big
